Epic Vein Center Services – Varicose Vein and Spider Vein Treatment

Quality, Service, and Results

At Epic Vein and Vascular Center my practice concentrates on the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins and venous disease. One aspect of the practice that I take particular pride in is that I personally do all of the assessments and treatments. All of our treatments are extremely safe, effective, and affordable. Each treatment plan is tailored to the needs of the individual patient after discussing the unique concerns and answering the questions of each patient.

In contrast to many multi-specialty and vein clinics, all medical care from the initial assessment to the treatment is provided by a board certified vascular surgeon who has specific specialty training and has built his career on the care of patients with circulatory disorders. With the variety of treatments available we have the knowledge, skill, and experience to choose the right one to achieve the results that you want to see.

My goal is to give my patients personal care and to achieve the best possible results. Varicose vein and spider vein treatment can be performed with minimal discomfort in the outpatient setting. Providing the highest quality care, giving attention to detail, and achieving results that satisfy my patients are my passions.

Spider Veins

Spider veins are unsightly surface veins that are quite visible and can develop in persons of any age, and in people who are otherwise healthy. They may be seen with underlying venous disease but are often present without any associated cause. Fortunately they are easily treated with Sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is a safe, effective, office procedure that only takes about 20 minutes and has lasting results. In sclerotherapy a solution is injected into these tiny veins and causes them to close down. If you have spider veins and have considered getting rid of them please call us for a consultation.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are relatively large bulging veins that are ugly, often painful, and tend to enlarge over time. They may also be associated with swelling of the leg and ankle and may cause permanent discoloration. Current treatment options for varicose vein treatment  include EVLT (Endo-Venous Laser Therapy) and ambulatory phlebectomy. Treatment is done in the office setting and takes about an hour. These procedures are safe, effective, and have long lasting results. Call for a consultation to discuss your options for treatment.

Leg Edema

Leg Edema, also known as leg swelling, can range in severity from mild to severe. There are many different causes of leg edema and determining the actual cause is essential to choosing an effective treatment. Varicose vein and spider vein treatment may not be of value in this condition. Mild cases, and some moderate cases can be treated with lifestyle modifications and sometimes eliminated with outpatient interventions. If left untreated leg edema can progress in severity and cause serious medical problems including chronic pain and leg ulcers.
